Non-metallic materials, such as concrete noise barriers, generally have better blocking of metal or transparent shielding materials, and are much heavier, so the screen increases the demand for daily maintenance to prevent damage to the screen, and damaged parts should be replaced immediately. 2. Daily maintenance of highway noise barriers
1. Anti-theft system maintenance: Regularly check whether the anti-theft bolts of such sound insulation board materials are loose. If they are loose, they need to be replaced in time.
2. Corrosion resistance maintenance: At present, the corrosion resistance of the metal screen of the sound insulation board mainly uses electrostatic powder spraying on the metal surface. When the metal sound insulation wall is used for a period of time, anti-rust treatment should be carried out in time to maintain the corrosion resistance of the material.

After many years of use, highway noise barriers need to be partially maintained and replaced. However, since the replacement usually occurs during traffic operation, safety measures are crucial during construction and replacement. For example, when replacing the screen materials of highway noise barriers on fully open roads, a complete safe construction and traffic maintenance plan should be formulated. The construction site should avoid the roadway as much as possible. At least within 200 meters, construction barriers and signs should be set up, as well as other signs and markings required for highway construction.
