The larger the diameter of the sound absorber at the top of the highway noise barrier, the greater the increase in insertion loss, but a diameter that is too large makes it feel top-heavy. In actual projects, choosing a diameter of 0.5m for the sound absorber is more appropriate, as it can increase the insertion loss to some extent and the visual effect is also better.
Highway noise barriers are mainly used for noise control on highways, roads, railways, streets, and communities, as well as comprehensive noise control for industrial enterprises, factories, and large-scale electromechanical equipment.
Introduction to repairing highway noise barriers
1. When the metal mesh is damaged, a new metal mesh should be replaced; when replacing the metal screen, it is generally removed from top to bottom and inserted from bottom to top, completing the replacement and maintenance work. When replacing the new metal mesh, pay attention to the sealing between the replaced mesh and the original mesh to prevent sound leakage.
2. Daily maintenance of noise barriers
1. To maintain anti-theft performance, regularly check whether the anti-theft bolts of the noise barrier material are loose. If so, replace them in time.
2. Maintenance of anti-corrosion performance: Currently, the anti-corrosion of the metal screen of the sound barrier mainly uses electrostatic spraying on the metal surface. When the large-scale arc-shaped sound insulation panels of elevated bridges reach their service life, anti-corrosion treatment should be carried out in time.
